Ayodhya opens the circuit's temple-town chapter. The Ram Mandir, ghats on the Saryu, and the rhythm of daily puja make it essential for spiritual travellers.
Ram Mandir anchors modern Ayodhya — a sandstone complex that draws devotees from across India. Before you reach the main shrine, most pilgrims climb Hanuman Garhi, where Hanuman is worshipped as protector of the town.
The ghats along the Saryu — Saryu Ghat, Ram Ki Paidi, and Guptar Ghat further upstream — come alive at evening aarti. Lamps multiply on the steps while the river reflects temple spires. Our Saryu evening aarti experience is the easiest entry point for first-time visitors.
