Local guides point to chintamani footprints impressed in rock — evidence for believers, metaphor for sceptics. Temples near the ghat house smaller shrines to Ram, Lakshman, and Bharata; priests perform brief aarti when pilgrims arrive in groups. The ghat today

Respect mourners; some choose Guptar precisely because crowds thin.

Ride from Ram Mandir after your central circuit, or dedicate a quiet morning before leaving Ayodhya by train. Allow ninety minutes including travel from town. Modest dress, minimal photography of individuals at prayer. No formal locker service — travel light.
